Every modern router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz network. This is the same band used by most smart home devices. Your router already supports it.

Why 2.4 GHz (not 5 GHz)
2.4 GHz has better range and wall penetration than 5 GHz. Since the control box is often in a garage or utility area, the longer range matters.

Range requirements
The control box needs a reliable WiFi signal. If your router is far from the box location, a WiFi extender can help - but most homes have no issues.

Simple setup
During installation, we connect the control box to your WiFi and verify the connection. You do not need to configure anything on your router.

Offline fallback
If WiFi drops, the lights continue running on their last programmed schedule. You just cannot make changes until the connection is restored.
