Worker protection

Why WCB insurance matters when hiring a permanent lighting installer

WCB is not optional. Any company installing permanent lights on your home should carry it. Here is why it matters to you.

What is WCB?

Workers' Compensation Board coverage protects workers who are injured on the job. It is mandatory in Alberta for companies with employees.

Your liability protection

If an uninsured worker is injured on your property, you could be held liable. WCB coverage removes this risk entirely.

Alberta law compliance

Alberta Labour Laws require WCB coverage. Companies operating without it are breaking the law.

Professional standard

WCB coverage is a baseline indicator that a company operates professionally and takes worker safety seriously.

Always verify

When getting quotes from any permanent lighting installer, ask for proof of WCB coverage. If they cannot provide it, walk away.

Our commitment

Number One Lights maintains current WCB coverage at all times. We are happy to provide proof upon request.
