The control box is installed in a hidden location near a regular household outlet.
Hidden in a garage, utility area, or under an eave near a standard 120V outlet. UL/cUL certified (File E483482), Class 2 isolated power supply, with brass weatherproof cable glands and parallel circuit design.

The brain of the system
The control box converts 120V household power to 24V DC, manages all LEDs and zones, connects to WiFi for app control, and includes 12 specific safety features. Here is what is inside.
File E483482, Document IFDR7.E483482, Product Code IFDR7. The full system listing (not just components) is evaluated for safety under real-world conditions. Suitable for wet locations. Uncertified competitors void business and home insurance if failure occurs.
Converts 120V AC from your standard household outlet to safe 24V DC for the LED pucks. Class 2 isolation means the low-voltage output circuit is electrically separated from the mains, providing an extra layer of safety.
Not plastic. Brass cable glands with one-way air caps seal every wire entry point against moisture and dust. Full encapsulation protects internal electronics. Water-resistant design rated for wet locations.
Built-in fuse protection and automatic short-circuit shutdown prevent overcurrent damage. If a wiring fault occurs, the control box shuts down the affected circuit before damage spreads.
Each LED puck operates on a parallel circuit. If one LED fails, all others continue operating. Series-wired competitors (common in 12V systems) lose entire sections when a single node fails.
Inside the enclosure: organized, colour-coded wiring with proper cable management. This is not a rats-nest of loose connections. Clean wiring reduces failure points and makes future service straightforward.
