What happens if a permanent light goes out?

Each Gen 3 RGBW LED puck is a self-contained module that clips into the 30mm hat track opening. One puck out, replacement in. No tools required for the LED swap itself. The track, wiring, and all surrounding LEDs stay untouched.

Gen 3 uses parallel circuit design. If one LED fails, the rest of the string continues operating normally. Series-wired competitors (common in 12V systems) lose entire sections when one node fails.

Voltage spikes from storms or grid fluctuations are clamped at the individual puck level. If a surge damages one LED, it does not cascade to neighbours. This dramatically reduces the chance of multi-puck failure.

Manufacturing defects that cause LED failure within the 5-year warranty period are covered by GOULY. Parts are replaced at no cost. Service visits outside warranty are straightforward and affordable.
